Snow Globes!

I hope everyone's enjoying being back from break!

We jumped right back in with a Benchmark AND writing prompt this week.
My kids have been champs though!
SO we've been doing some extra fun projects in the afternoons. :)
Today and yesterday we worked on making snow globes!

The kids always have a blast with this project!
We begin by reading a book about winter.
Then we talk about all the super fun things we like to do in the snow.

After that, the kids pick their favorite things they like to do in winter.
{ONE? Can we pick three?}

Before they begin, I model how to cut the shapes to make a person/snowman/tree.
{No "I can'ts allowed!!!}

Then they're off!

I can't wait to hang them all up in the hall!

Have a happy Friday!

  1. Sarah, those are PRECIOUS! So colorful- and they cut out the shapes and wrote so well! Get them RIGHT up in the hall so everyone can see them. :)
