Throwback Thursday!

It's time for Throwback Thursday with Cara!! I've only been blogging for about 4 months, so I can't throwback TOO far, but here's a fun post about what I do with my kiddos who finish early....or as a fun activity to do while I'm working with groups! :)

I'm Finished! What Can I Do?!

Looking for an idea to do for your kiddos who finish first?  I can't take credit for this idea...one of my awesome teammates thought of this one!  What a super idea!  Each child gets their own envelope.  Each of them has a different activity that they can work on when they are finished.  You can put things like flashcards, an index card with words they need to practice, sentences that need fixing, or even special cards like extra computer time! ~ always a hit :), practice tying your shoes, or choose a book to read from the "teacher's shelf."  I switch it up a lot so my kiddos are always surprised by what they find in their envelope.  They LOVE it!!!!

I plan on using this again this coming year.  I'm hoping to find some prettier envelopes to use though!!

Go link up with Cara for your Throwback! :)
