Chair Tutorial

A few days ago I mentioned the chair I found on the side of the road......I finished it! :)  I did a tutorial for the other chair, but this one was so much easier.  It only took me about 45 minutes!!

My other chair had arms and lots more pieces so it was trickier.  This one was super simple!

First I my bf got the plastic piece off the back if it (I was afraid I was going to break it!!)  I needed an allen wrench to take the back and bottom off.

I used a screw driver to lift up the staples and a wrench to pull them out.  I did this for both the back and bottom.  Get rid of your yucky fabric! :)

Luckily the padding was perfect on this chair so I didn't need to replace it.  I used 3M spray adhesive to glue the fabric to the padding.  {I did this because it was curved and I didn't want the fabric to be loose!}  It only takes 30 seconds to dry.

So, glue!  Lay your fabric over, making sure you have enough to staple on each side.  Then staple!

I put the plastic pieces back on.

Then reassemble your chair!

Good as new!!!!
I l.o.v.e it!!!!! :)
