Spring is coming!!
This little spring project is one of my favorites.
It practices adjectives, builds classroom community, and makes a super cute display!
Best of all, it's a freebie. :)
You can start as a class by making a list of adjectives that describe people.
The kiddos each make their own flower.
I like to put their picture in the middle of it, but that's totally up to you!
Then each kid comes up and chooses 6 friends to give an adjective that describes them.
Write them yourself or have the kids write them!
It's so fun listening to them give words to describe their friends.
The person they are describing always has the biggest smile on their face.
It's the best!
This project can take awhile if you do it as a whole class.
I like to break it up and do a handful of kids at a time.
You could do it at snack time or even in small groups, do what works best for your class!
If you make them, I'd love to see! Tag me on Instagram @asunnydayinfirstgrade
Happy Spring!
