Weekend Warriors: Dismissal!

I'm back with my Weekend Warrior girlies to help make back to school way more COOL!

Dismissal is always a stressful part of the first day {or know!} of school.
Especially when you have 25 buses and a school full of first graders!

{Side note: Our administrative assistant is AMAZING and takes care of all of this for us.
She even makes us labels with how our kids are getting home each day at the beginning of the year.
She's seriously amazing!}

But before we had Wonder Woman taking care of everything for us,
I made this little sheet to help make the first day dismissal a little less stressful.
Dismissal Information {freebie!}

I had parents fill it out at Meet & Greet and was ready to go on the first day of school!
Many of our parents pick up on the first day, so they mark how they're getting home the first day AND the remainder of the year.
Easy peasy!
No having to worry about anyone going to the wrong place at dismissal time! :)

I hope it makes your first day less stressful too!
(or if you've already started, I hope you can use it next year!!!)

I'm blogging over at Teacher Deals and Dollar Steals today!
Hop over the check out my $1 product! :)

These girlies have lots more back to school cooooool ideas for you!!!

Weekend Warriors: Back to School Planning!

Happy Saturday my fabulous friends!
I'm back with my Weekend Warrior friends with tips and tricks for back to school!

Planning the first few weeks can be tricky.
You never know how long it'll take to complete the activities you plan...
...or what things may come up during the day.
I ALWAYS over-plan and find myself rewriting my plans from day to day.

Soooo this year, I wrote my plans on sticky notes!!
The things that aren't going to change, I wrote in like I would normally do.
But everything else is color coded and easy to change if needed!
(*my plans are usually much more detailed than this!*)

I don't like having to cross things off and move them around.
I REALLY don't like writing in pencil.
You might say I have some issues, tehehe. :)
I don't like messy plan books!
So now all I have to do is move the sticky note!
Or change it.
Because there are already a few things I want to add in/change. :)

Plus it just looks so pretty! :)

Once we get our routine down and I get to know my new little kiddos,
I'll go back to writing them in like I normally do.

Happy planning!

Don't forget to check out my Warrior friends' back to school ideas!!

Five for Friday {August 29!}

Happy Friday!
I was back to work this week!
School starts on Tuesday. :)

I'm linking up with Doodle Bugs for Five for Friday.

I am SO loving this shelf!
It took a LOT of work, but I feel so organized!

My sweet friend Carolyn blogged about these TOTALLY AWESOME sticky notes she found.
I couldn't find any in the Walmarts near me. :(
So Carolyn sent me some!!!!
Isn't she the sweetest?!?!?!?!!!!
Look at those pens and pencils and highlighters too!!
She knows me so well!
Thank you Carolyn!!!!!!! :)

We had Meet & Greet this week.
I met my new kiddos!!!
They are all so sweet and shy!
I'm excited for the year to begin. :)

{You can grab the bookmarks here and the Jitter Glitter here!}

My classroom is all finished and ready for the first day!
Classroom reveal coming soon!! :)

This was Moo after the first day.
He knows exactly how I felt, haha!

Monday Made It!

Happy Monday friends!

I'm linking up with Tara for Monday Made It!
It was my first official day back today, so it's going to be quick.
This girl is TIRED! :)

I made this cute little wreath for my classroom door.
Sorry for the dark picture, it was late! :)
I'll take a better one at school tomorrow!

I made my drawers pretty!!!
I just love them!

Here's before and after.

I still need to add some labels to the front, but I LOVE how they came out!

Maria over at Kinder-Craze has a great tutorial on how to make the stencils!

 And these shoes!!!
I shared these before but not for Monday Made It!
They were pin-spired! :)
All you need are white shoes and fabric paint!

Have a fabulous week!
