Dolch Word Book & Assessment Freebie!!

I hope you all are enjoying your summer!
I'm on day 1 and LOVING it! :)

Awhile ago I blogged about these Dolch Word Mini Books I created for my kiddos.
If you don't remember, you can read about them {HERE}. :)

There's a mini book for pre-primer-third grade words.
My kids absolutely LOVED them this year!
When the kids know a word, they can stamp, put a fingerprint, or stick a sticker next to the word.
So super fun!

It gets better!
Ash over at The Polished Teacher created this little assessment freebie to go with the books!!!
She's so awesome!
I'm totally using them next year!

Ash uses them to keep parents involved in their child's learning.
Just highlight the words the child needs to learn and send home.
Parents can easily see what words their child should keep working on!

The words on Ash's assessment pages correspond to the words in my mini books.
She even made the clipart match!!!!

You can grab her freebie {HERE!}

TpT Seller Challenge: Dare to Dream!

It's Week 2 of the TpT Seller Challenge!
This week's theme is Dare to Dream.
So I'm linking up today to share some of my own dreams!

Be the best teacher I can be!
I can truly, honestly say that TpT has made me a better teacher.
Teaching is  my passion.  I love every second of my job.
Creating things for TpT has made me love teaching even more.
I am always thinking of new ways to teach my kids to make the "light bulb" go off.
I have sticky notes with ideas in my lunch box, stuck to my computer, in my plan book...everywhere!
TpT has helped me really think about what I'm teaching and how to best get it across to my kiddos.
It has helped me make learning more fun!

Save for the future.
I have a lot to look forward to in my life!
TpT is making it possible for me to save for kids, a new kitchen, and a whole lot more! :)

New kitchen!!
Having a new kitchen would make me the happiest girl in the world. :)

Paying off my student loans.
Thanks to TpT, I've been able to put more money toward my student loans.
Someday I will have them paid off!!!
(which will make saving for the future even easier!)

I have had so much fun reading about everyone's hopes and dreams!
Stop by these fabulous blogs and link up to share yours!

Teachers Love Summer!

Teachers love summer.
They really, really do!
I'm linking up with Aimee at Primarily Speaking for this fun linky!

No alarm clock!!!
I'm totally a morning person, so I still get up early.
But it's so nice not HAVING to be up!

I get to spend the day with this guy. ;)
Coolest pup around!

I love having time to get things ready for the next school year!
I already have a list of things to make!!
It's nice not being tired or rushed to get things done!

There's time to do anything, anytime!
Want to go to the beach?
Let's go!
Who wants to go hiking?
Exercise in the middle of the day?
Yes please!
Need something at the store?

What about you?
Why do you love summer?

TPT Seller Challenge: Makeover Challenge!

Have you heard about the TPT Seller Challenge?!
I think it's going to be so fun!!
This week is Makeover Week!

I've been slowly, but surely, going through my store and updating my older products.
I feel like I have grown and changed a lot since I first started my little store! :)
Here's one of my most recent updates!

I love using these Writer's Eyes in my classroom!
It's so simple, but so effective.
I even have special glasses the kids can wear when they're checking their work!

Both the cover and the inside have been updated.
The content is the same, but I made it prettier with new fonts and clipart. :)

Here's a peek at the posters and bookmarks!

I also updated one of the very first things I made.
It's a game of I Have, Who Has!
It was completely overhauled!!!
This one's a freebie! :)

It's so fun updating things!
Hop over the Sparkling in Second, Third in HollywoodPeppy Zesty Teacherista, and Teach Create Motivate to see who else has made over some of their products!

Autograph Book Freebie!

Hello sweet friends!
Are you out of school yet?
We are still counting down the days!

I thought it would be fun for the kids to write little notes to each other,
so I made them this little autograph book!

Of course, I had to share it with all of you too!!!

Have a happy week!

Currently June!

I CANNOT believe it's June already.
WHERE has the school year gone?!!

I'm linking up with Farley for this month's Currently!

I always seem to be listing to nothing when I do my Currently. :)

My kiddos have become such super duper awesome readers.
It makes me one super happy teacher!

It's June 2nd and we're debating whether or not to turn the heat on.

SUN!  It's been raining for 3 days.
We need the rain, but I don't like being stuck inside!

We have 15 days left of school.
There's so much to do!!!

Summer Lovin':
I could sit outside ALL summer and still be white as a ghost. ;)
I plan to spend lots of time outside, hiking, kayaking, and getting a sunburn enjoying every second!

Head over and link up with Farley!
