I'm linking up with Doodle Bugs for this week's Five for Friday!!
1. I've been working on my kids' memory books for the end of the year. We've been talking a lot about what we want to be when we grow up, so my totally awesome boyfriend put this together for me!! :) It was super easy to do the pics. I just cut out black construction paper and wrote with chalk on it!
2. We learned about the life cycle of a pig....and made these cute little piggies!!! Then we wrote about them. (You know I love crafty writing!!!) :)
3. We've been doing our ABC Countdown. The kids LOVE IT! Yesterday was D for Dance Party Day. Their dance moves were so precious! I had a few robots and a whole lot of sprinklers! One of them even started a train. They were all lined up dancing around!
4. I posted about this earlier this week, but I love this sign!!! This was last weekend's project...I found the idea on Pinterest!
5. One of the girls at work brought us boxes to start packing. They make this move seem more real. I'm still not sure how I should tell my kiddos they won't be able to visit me on their way to their second grade classes next year.
Are you ready for the long weekend?! My weekend is filled with birthday fun! Color Run, hiking, margaritas, and cake!! What could be better? :) Happy weekend everyone!!
Those piggies are darling! I've been seeing that a lot of people do the countdown. I'm going to have to give it a try next year. The dancing is great!

Hi Sarah!
ReplyDeleteI just adore your photo collage! I am working on one too! Took the pictures yesterday at school. Now can you tell me how you created the final piece? Did you use a specific photo shop or do it in powerpoint? Would love your directions!
Thanks so much,

ReplyDeleteThanks Kim! The ABC Countdown has been fun so far :)
DeleteLove the pigs! We do a pig story at the beginning of the year. I will need to "pin" your pig so that I don't forget about it!
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend!

Curious Firsties
Hi Em! We do "Pigs A'Plenty, Pigs Galore" at the beginning of the year. I am thinking I may do it earlier next year! I have patterns for it, I just haven't had a chance to upload them yet! :)
DeleteA move, what a lot of work. But, certainly a good time to edit. Things accumulate quickly in a first grade classroom.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
School Is a Happy Place
Things definitely do accumulate quickly! It feels good to go through and organize everything! :)
DeleteHave a fun week!
