Math crafts are my favorite Friday activity!
Here's a simple, fun, and free one for Halloween!
All you need to make this is:
- black paper (I used 6 x 7.5 inch, but you can use any size you want!)
- a white crayon
- spiders - I used spider rings with the ring part cut off, but you could also use stickers or even have your kids draw some.
- optional: background paper to glue it all on :)
On a piece of black paper, have your kids draw a web. It may be easiest if you do this as a class! Start by making a big X on your paper, from corner to corner. Then draw a big plus sign from edge to edge. Between each line, show your kids how to make little U shapes all the way around until they have a web.
Once the webs are done, add your two different colored spiders!
Complete your addition sentence and TA-DA!
You can grab the addition sentence freebie HERE.
I hope you can use this with your kids!
